The Simpsons Fan Community R.I.P?

I am troubled by the recent demise of the Simpsons Top 100 site. Coupled with the fact that sites like www.nohomers.net and www.capefeare.com hav had little or no activity for the past week has conviced me more than ever that The Community is dieing a slow, painfull death. As Veteren Fans move on to better things leaving only Jean Lovers and Scully Worshipers in their wake. I fear that we may suffer the same fate as the Futurama Fan Community. With under 30 websites currently active, that is out of over 1000 Simpsons Sites on the Web, we may be entering the Digital Dark Ages. My message to any Simpsons Fan out there: Create a Simpsons site, and if you own one allready, update it! Remember the C&D Wars of the 1990's?( see www.snpp.com ) If we can survive that, we can survive this! Do not give up hope! Together we will weather this storm!

Simpsons Season 17-Make Or Break

The first to episodes of this season have so far been ok. TBOTM had its moments, but over all it fell flat for me. TGWSTL on the other hand seemed to get right back on track and I would go as far as to say that there may be a renicannce on the cards. Although Al is cutting it a bit fine, we only have three years to go, four at me most. I dont see Matt&Co letting run any longer than that. But still, I will give credit when credit is due.

Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince

Hmmm, what to say about this latest installmant in the Harry Potter saga?
Well, it is a little bit......explanitory for me, most of the book seemed to me to have long scenes with Dumbledore explaining stuff to Harry. This isnt bad, but I do wish that JKR had not dedicated entire chapters to it. And the Ron/Lavender/Hermione love triangle thing got really old really fast when it first matiralised in Goblet, I thought it was cute, but dragging it out over two books is not cricket (or should that be Quiddich;])All in all an OK read but it does tend to drag in plases.
